Boost Your Community's Digital Future: Apply for UKSPF Digital Connectivity Grants

VOLA is launching the sixth funding round of the Liverpool City Region UKSPF Digital Connectivity for Community Facilities Grants programme on Wednesday 11th June.  The application form and supporting documents will be uploaded to VOLA’s website by 5pm on this date. The deadline for applications is 5pm, Wednesday 9th July.

Grants of between £2,500 and £10,000 will be awarded to successful applicants in early August, with £150,000 available across the Liverpool City Region.  Further information is available on VOLA’s website, including borough funding allocations and Round 6 funding priorities.

To assist prospective applicants, VOLA is hosting some online briefing sessions, which you are encouraged to attend.

1. General briefing – 3 options (you only need to attend one):

  1. Wednesday 11th June, 12.00 – 1.00 pm – register here

  2. Thursday 12th June, 3.00 – 4.00 pm – register here

  3. Friday 13th June, 12.00 – 1.00 pm – register here

2. Technical tips session – Monday 16th June, 1.00 – 2.15pm – register here

The general briefing will summarise key information relating to the grants programme (purpose, eligibility criteria, what it can/ can't fund, etc), help people to decide on whether or not to apply, and provide guidance on submitting a good application.

The technical tips session provides essential information and advice on important issues to consider and dos & don'ts in relation to planning your IT facility. If you aren’t an IT expert, this workshop is a MUST!  Feedback from previous successful grant applicants that attended this session has been overwhelmingly positive in terms of how useful and important it was in helping them to carefully plan their project.

Slides and recordings of the briefing sessions will be made available on VOLA’s website, but it is strongly recommended that you attend.

Any enquiries should be directed to VOLA at ukspfgrants@volamerseyside.org.uk.
